FakeDono makes it incredibly simple to create realistic fake donation alerts. Here's exactly how it works:
Sign up with Google or your email address — no credit card required. Your account is created instantly and gives you 1,500 free TTS characters per month. Everything is saved to your account across all your devices.
Tap one of the amount chips to select it. You can customise your list of amounts in Settings — add any value you want from £1 to £10,000. Switch to Bits mode to use Twitch Bits amounts like 100, 500, or 1,000 bits instead.
Type any donor name, or leave it blank for FakeDono to randomly pick from your saved name list. Add famous streamers, your friends' names, or anything else. The name is read out loud as part of the donation alert.
Add a custom message or tap a quick prompt chip to fill it in instantly. The message is read after the donor name and amount. Leave it blank to play a name-and-amount-only donation — this uses zero characters from your monthly allowance.
Choose between AWS Polly (realistic neural voices), ElevenLabs (ultra-realistic AI voices using your own free API key), or your browser's built-in TTS (completely free and unlimited). Brian UK Male sounds most like real Twitch donation alerts.
Click the Play Donation button. The donation sound effect plays first, then the TTS voice reads out the full alert. Your chat and viewers hear it through your stream — they'll have no idea it's fake. Use Pause or Stop at any time to cut it short.
FakeDono supports three different voice providers — from free unlimited browser TTS to premium neural AI voices.
High-quality neural voices powered by Amazon Web Services. The same voice engine used by real Twitch donation alerts. Brian (UK Male) is the authentic Twitch donation voice — your viewers won't know the difference. Also includes Emma, Amy, Matthew, Joanna, Russell, and more.

Everything you need to know about FakeDono before getting started.
What is FakeDono and what does it do?
FakeDono is a free browser-based TTS (text-to-speech) tool designed for streamers. It generates realistic fake donation alerts that sound identical to real Twitch, StreamLabs, or StreamElements donations. You can customise the donor name, amount, currency, and message — then play the alert directly through your browser's audio for use on your live stream.
Is FakeDono completely free?
Yes — FakeDono has a permanent free tier with no trial period. You get 1,500 TTS characters per month, access to AWS Polly neural voices, your own ElevenLabs key support, and unlimited browser TTS. No credit card is required to sign up. Premium is available for just £1/month if you need higher limits.
Do I need to download or install anything?
Absolutely not. FakeDono is a web app that runs entirely in your browser. Visit fakedono.wtf, sign up for a free account, and start generating fake donation alerts immediately — on any device, any operating system.
Which voice sounds most like a real Twitch donation?
AWS Polly's Brian (UK Male) voice is the exact voice used by real Twitch donation alert systems. Selecting this voice produces alerts that are virtually indistinguishable from genuine donations. For US-audience streams, Matthew and Joanna are the most convincing alternatives.
Does FakeDono support Twitch Bits cheering alerts?
Yes! Toggle to Bits mode in the generator. The TTS will announce bits in the same format as a real Twitch Bits cheer — for example: "IShowSpeed cheered 1000 Bits. What's up chat!" Bits mode uses your custom bit amount list, so you can set it up for exactly the amounts you want.
How does the character limit work?
Only the donation message text counts against your monthly character allowance. The donor name and donation amount are completely free — you can play as many name-only or amount-only donations as you want without using any characters. Switching to Browser TTS (the Free voice tab) is also unlimited and uses no characters at all.
Is my ElevenLabs API key safe?
Yes — your ElevenLabs API key is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to FakeDono's servers, never logged, and never shared. Only your browser uses it to make requests directly to ElevenLabs. You can remove it at any time from Settings → Audio.
Can I use FakeDono on mobile?
Yes — FakeDono is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. Chrome on Android and Safari on iOS both support the app. Note that audio playback on mobile may require you to tap the play button while the screen is active, as browsers restrict background audio on mobile devices.
How do I cancel Premium?
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Account → Manage Subscription. This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel in one click. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period — no prorated refunds, but you won't be charged again. Your data is preserved after cancellation.
What browsers does FakeDono support?
FakeDono works best in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on desktop. Safari on macOS works but browser TTS voice options are more limited. All modern mobile browsers are supported for basic playback. Internet Explorer is not supported.
